Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has praised the remarkable achievement of cooperative banks in the state, which have disbursed loans totaling over Rs 23,000 crore in the past eight years. This significant financial milestone underscores the critical role cooperative banks play in empowering farmers and fostering a self-reliant rural economy.
Addressing officials, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that cooperatives are essential for realizing the vision of a self-reliant farmer. He encouraged the active participation of NABARD and cooperative banks to ensure the successful implementation of the Mukhyamantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana, a scheme designed to enhance the income of small and marginal farmers.
