Accenture is acquiring CyberCX, one of the largest cybersecurity firms in Asia Pacific, to expand AI-driven security services, protect enterprises, and enhance resilience for public and private organizations.
Accenture has agreed to acquire CyberCX, a leading privately-owned cybersecurity services provider in Australia, New Zealand, and internationally. This acquisition marks Accenture’s largest cybersecurity investment to date, enhancing its capabilities across the Asia Pacific region.
CyberCX, founded in Melbourne in 2019, employs around 1,400 professionals and offers end-to-end cybersecurity services, including consulting, transformation, managed security, offensive security, cyber-physical security, threat intelligence, and strategic advisory. The firm operates advanced security operations centers across Australia and New Zealand, with additional offices in London and New York.

The partnership also integrates CyberCX’s AI-driven platforms for detection and response, sovereign secure cloud, and proprietary tools for security testing and cyber intelligence. The acquisition comes amid rising demand for robust cybersecurity, with Accenture’s State of Cybersecurity Resilience 2025 report highlighting that 97% of Australian organizations are not fully prepared to secure AI-driven operations.

This acquisition continues Accenture’s strategic expansion in cybersecurity, following prior acquisitions of Morphus, MNEMO Mexico, and Innotec Security. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed and remain subject to regulatory approvals.
