FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., the parent company of the popular e-commerce platform Nykaa, reported strong financial performance for the third quarter of FY25, showcasing a 61.43% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit. The company posted a net profit of ₹26.12 crore for Q3FY25, compared to ₹16.18 crore in the same period last year. This impressive growth highlights Nykaa’s continued expansion and resilience in the competitive e-commerce market.
Nykaa’s revenue for the quarter rose by 26.74%, reaching ₹2,267.21 crore, up from ₹1,788.80 crore in Q3FY24. On a sequential basis, the revenue also saw a 21% increase, reflecting robust performance across its various verticals. Despite the impressive profit growth, Nykaa’s shares closed at ₹170.52, down by 1.69% on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company’s total expenses for Q3FY25 amounted to ₹2,228.18 crore, a 26% increase compared to ₹1,769.89 crore in the previous year. Nykaa reported an EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) of ₹141 crore, maintaining a 6.2% margin during the quarter.

Beauty Vertical Growth
The Beauty vertical continued to be Nykaa’s standout performer, growing 32% YoY, with a Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) of ₹3,389.9 crore. The company’s expanding customer base played a crucial role in this growth, with cumulative beauty customers reaching 32 million. Furthermore, the One Nykaa platform now boasts 40 million customers, and the order volume grew by 30% YoY, marking the highest growth rate in the last nine quarters.
Fashion Segment Expansion
The Fashion vertical also showed solid growth, with revenue up 21% YoY, despite a challenging market environment. The GMV for the segment grew by 8%, driven in part by successful marketing campaigns and events like Nykaaland and Nykaa wali Shaadi. These initiatives contributed to increased customer engagement and revenue for Nykaa Fashion.
Retail Network Expansion
Nykaa has continued to expand its physical retail network, now comprising 221 stores across 73 cities. Over the past year, the company has opened more than 47 new stores, with each store delivering impressive productivity, averaging ₹4,250 per square foot per month. The retail space has grown by 31% YoY, totaling 2.1 lakh square feet, thanks to the introduction of larger stores, including flagship locations that feature shop-in-shop formats and offer premium beauty services.
Nykaa’s expansion into brick-and-mortar retail, along with its growing e-commerce presence, positions the company as one of the most profitable store networks in the sector, with higher average order values and increased profitability.
