Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) CEO K Krithivasan’s remuneration rose 4.6% to ₹26.52 crore in FY25, amid employee salary hikes and slight decline in R&D spending.
India’s largest IT services company, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, reported an increase in the compensation of its CEO and Managing Director, K Krithivasan. According to the company’s annual report released on May 28, 2025, Krithivasan’s remuneration for the fiscal year 2024-25 rose by 4.6 percent to ₹26.52 crore.
Krithivasan’s total compensation includes a salary of ₹1.39 crore, benefits and allowances worth ₹2.13 crore, and a commission of ₹23 crore. This remuneration is nearly 330 times the median salary of TCS’s 6.07 lakh employees.
The company also reported a 7.8 percent increase in the overall pay package of Chief Financial Officer Samir Seksaria. On average, employee salary hikes ranged between 5.5 and 7.5 percent, with 1.1 lakh employees receiving promotions in the fiscal year. Top performers in India saw salary increases in double digits.
Newly appointed President and Chief Operating Officer Aarthi Subramanian will receive a monthly salary of ₹10.8 lakh.
In FY25, TCS’s spending on research and development decreased slightly to ₹2,630 crore from ₹2,751 crore in FY24, constituting about 1 percent of the company’s total revenue, down from 1.1 percent in the previous year.
The company’s management highlighted ongoing challenges in the global economy, including geopolitical tensions and financial market volatility, while expressing optimism about recovery through clearer trade agreements, global cooperation, and innovation-driven growth.
TCS also disclosed that of its 6.07 lakh employees, 35 percent (2.14 lakh) are women. The company received 125 cases of sexual harassment complaints during the year, up from 110 the previous year, with 23 complaints still pending resolution as of March 2025.
